Q2 What type of company listings do you accept?

Q3 My company is already listed on one or both of the sites – can I change the listing and do I have to pay for it?

We are aware of many companies and organisations that work with Higher and Further Education and have basic details of these companies in our database: company name, address, telephone and fax number. These entries are free and will remain so. If you wish to change or correct these details please send us the information via our contact form or call our Customer Service Team on 020 7112 7031 and we will make the changes as quickly as possible. If you would like to take out a more extended listing, we have a variety of listing and advertisement opportunities - please see our Advertise with Us page for further details and prices. You do not have to take out a paid for listing to retain your free basic listing on the site. If you do wish to take out a more extensive listing you can do so by registering on the site and purchasing directly from your Account Page (for most types of ads), and/or you can call our Customer Service Team as above and they will be pleased to help you.

Q4 What can I advertise?

You can place directory adverts on one or both sites, plus we have a range of other advertising opportunities, including showcase ads for specific products or services, event listings, and button and banner advertising opportunities. Q5 How much does it cost to advertise on the site(s)?

Prices start from just £200 for a 12 month Bronze ‘regional’ listing – see our Advertise with Us page for the full price breakdown. Q6 Can I advertise on both websites together, or do I have to have separate accounts?

With most of our ads you can publish your ad on one of the two sites, or on both sites together, as you prefer.

Q7 How can I check if my company/organisation is already on your database?

You can search on your company/organisation name, or use the A-Z companies listing or call our Customer Service Team on 020 7112 7031. If your company/organisation is not listed on the site, and you would like it to be, you can register yourself as an Advertiser. We will then check to see that your company or organization provides products or services relevant to Further or Higher Education, and if so, we will approve your listing. This usually takes place within 24 hours during the week. You will then be able to advertise on the site.

Q8 How do you market the websites?

We will be marketing both websites via extensive email marketing and a poster campaign into Colleges and Universities, and this will be supplemented by regular emails to registered users when new companies advertise on the site. We will also be advertising on Google Adwords, and via other events and mailing opportunities within the sector.

Q9 How do you accept payments?

When you place an advert on the site, we will invoice you. Our payment terms require payment within 30 days of invoice and the invoice is generally issued the date the advert goes live, although if you create an advert in advance and choose to publish it later, please be aware that the invoice must be paid 30 days from the date of purchase. We accept payment by cheque or BACS.

Q11 I am from a small company and I only work in my local area – can you help?

Yes, we offer ‘regional’ advertising in your local area, as well as ‘national’ advertising opportunities. See our Advertise with Us page price listings.

Q14 How long do adverts last on the site?

Directory entries last for 12 months – all other types of ad except event listings can be purchased on a month by month basis. Event listings last until the date of the event.

Q15 Do I have to have a directory entry to have a banner or other type of advert?

You must have a directory entry to place an additional showcase ad, but you do not need one for an event listing or button or banner advertising.

Q16 When was Online Resource Pages set up?

PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, one of the divisions of Online Resource Pages Ltd, was established in November 2006, as a Partnership. Online Resource Pages Ltd was incorporated in June 2008 by the owner of PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, Jane Penrose, and on 1 November 2008 PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk became a trading division of Online Resource Pages Ltd. HigherPages.co.uk and FurtherPages.co.uk were launched in December 2008.
